Vereda – Fanal & Praia do Seixal

This day offers a unique mix of mountain and sea. It features two natural highlights of Madeira: Vereda – Fanal & Praia do Seixal.

We start with the Vereda – Fanal, a scenic trail through the Laurissilva forest. This native woodland is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. The path is accessible and alternates between open views and dense forest. The frequent mist in Fanal creates a magical, fairytale-like atmosphere.

After the hike, we head to Praia do Seixal, known for its dramatic cliffs and black volcanic sand. It’s considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You’ll have 1h30 to 2h of free time to swim or relax before returning to the hotel. Vereda – Fanal & Praia do Seixal.
